Pumpkin Dog Biscuits

Christmas is coming so it’s time for some special doggie biscuits. These are not baked to a “hard” state so they need to be kept in the regrigerator.

Dry Ingredients
1 lb 6 oz whole wheat flour
5 oz corn meal
1 t baking soda
1 t baking powder

Wet Ingredients
1 c pumpkin
1/4 c sorghum syrup
1/2 cup warm
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs

Sift together the dry ingredients.
Mix together the wet ingredients.
Pour the wet into the dry and mix well. The dough may be a bit sticky, just add a bit more flour if necessary.
Wrap in plastic wrap and chill.
Roll, cut into bone shapes and bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes, depending on size.
