Oven chocolate roux

Easy way to make a dark roux.

1 pound flour
1 pound vegetable oil.

Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix the oil and flour in a roasting pan and place in the oven. Set the time for 90 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes. My chocolate roux was done after about 75 minutes. Cool and store in jar in refrigerator.
