Strawberry Sipping Vinegar

This is my second attempt at sipping vinegar.
2 cups diced strawberries
2 cups cider vinegar
1 1/2 cups sugar

Wash and dice the strawberries and place in a quart canning jar. Add the vinegar, cap and store on the counter for a week, shaking daily. After a week, strain the liquid into a bottle, add the sugar and well. Store on the counter until the sugar is dissolved. Place in the refrigerator.

Update: I strained the juice and added the sugar today. After adding the sugar and mixing it a few times during the day, I was finally able to give it a try. The strawberry is just as good as the blueberry. I think we have two winners here.
Remember, you can use berries that are “past their prime”. A good way to use them up.
